From Qinghai Kingho Group (Correspondent: Yue Yan) On the afternoon of November 8, 2012, Yu Xianqiang, deputy director-general of the Ministry of Commerce, Shi Rongyao, president of China Association of Development Zones and Ren Huan, director of the Investigation Department of China Assoication of Development Zones, accompanied by Director-general He Shaomin and Deputy Director-general Yang Zhengwei of the Department of Commerce of Qinghai Province, Si Xinbo, president of China Development Bank Qinghai Branch, Wang Zhen, deputy mayor of Golmud visited and investigated Qinghai Kingho Group Golmud Iron and Steel Industry Park. Accompanied by leaders of different levels of the headquarters, the investigation team visited the control room and raw material yards in Golmud, when the leaders learned in details about the production process, construction scale and investment of the pellet plant. Later, the team visited the comprehensive raw material yards, main procedures including iron making, sintering, steel making and milling of 2,000,000t steel and iron integration project, as well as administrative office buildings. Han Liqin, deputy chief commander of the Steel and Iron Project Headquarters reported to leaders in brief the overall plan, overview, production process, equipment level as well as resources configuration of 2,000,000t steel and iron integration project. The leaders were satisfied with the overall construction progress of the iron and steel project.
